What types of materials can I choose to have around my fireplace?
There are many different materials to choose from and we can work with you to find the material you want most. The options are practically limitless when it comes to the selection of materials, so we can remove and install almost any material you desire. From tile to marble, stone to metal, or wood to drywall, we can work with you to create the look you want for your home. All materials must be picked out directly by the customer, but we can arrange to pick them up for you.
I have an existing brick fireplace. Will this cause any problems with creating a level surface?
We do our best to make the fireplace level. Brick does take a bit of work to create a level working surface. Most existing brick is not level and when trying to cover up a brick, it is almost never square. We do our best to make it as perfect as possible.
Will, my house gets dusty or dirty from the work being performed?
We do our best to mask everything in the direct area of the worksite by covering everything with paper or plastic. The floors are covered as well. If the workspace is carpeted, we lay down a double layer of plastic to protect it. If the work area is hardwood, we set out one layer of floor paper, a sheet of masonite and then another cover of floor plastic. As with any construction site, there is a possibility of dust, but rest assured that we will do our best to protect your living space and valuables.
Do I need all of the exact details of the fireplace transformation I want to be performed in my home at the time of the free estimate?
Having a general idea of what you would like done to your fireplace is good to have at the time of the free estimate, but our estimator can contribute many ideas if needed. We enjoy adding to your ideas and coming up with something you will really love. Our estimator has brochures and business cards from many different companies as well as pictures of previously done fireplaces. We can help develop your ideas into something great!
Do you have a showroom where I can view products?
We do not have a showroom because the possibilities are so endless that we couldn’t possibly show enough examples or carry enough samples.
